At approx. 08:00 hrs we depart by 4WD vehicles to Wahiba Sands via the scenic and 
rugged coastal route. This tour offers breath-taking glimpses of the blue waters of the 
Gulf of Oman offset by pristine white beaches.
Visit the picturesque Wadi Arabayeen with its deep pools of water set among the date 
palms. We proceed to the Bimah sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater filled with 
bluish-green water. On clear sunny days you might spot sharks in the deep blue 
waters while driving along the coast or see fleet-footed Gazelles sprinting across the 
landscape.
As we continue the road meanders through mountain terrain, offering breath-taking 
glimpses of the ocean. After lunch we continue our drive to the Wahiba Sands with its 
beautiful pure and majestic sand dunes, with amazing contours and a huge variety of 
flora and fauna. Experience an adventurous ride over the dunes. The ever-changing 
patterns of these dunes are a photographer’s delight. Enjoy one hour camel riding at 
sunset, dinner and overnight in tents at the Al Salam Camp/Desert Night camp or 1000 nights camp.

Enjoy Breakfast. Todays highlight: Wahiba Sands, also home to the traditional Bedouin 
tribe who are known for their hospitality and their knowledge of the sands. We will 
visit a Bedouin family in their traditional and simple habitat via camel ride (1 Hour). In 
great contrast to the aforementioned is Wadi Bani Khalid. It consists of small pretty 
villages embedded in the mountains. The Wadi has clear deep blue water. It is 
advisable to wear light, comfortable clothing and walking shoes
